Beijing Power Equipment Group Special Electric Equipment Works(SEEW) is a earliest and largest manufacturer of Line Traps in China. BPEG begin to produce open type of line trap(Type XZK) since 1962 with 2000 units of annual produce capacity. The line traps operate widely over main powerlines of 500kV and below in China, and export to USA, Canada, Cuba, Thailand about tens of countries. In order to meet the increasing capacity if electric network, BPEG imported advanced technique from Trench Electric Canada - Enclosed, Energy saved Line Trap Type XZF. XZF line Traps are all designed with computer. Applicable standards: GB7330-1989，IEC353 and ANSI. The line trap type XZF have the following notable advantages: low loss, higher mechanical strength, without daily maitenance. Withstanding short-time current tests have been done in KEMA high power laboratory and got the certificates. For the Line Trap, BPEG gained the National Silver Quality Medal in 1988, got Appraisal Certificate from Energy Ministry in 1991 and acquired Certificate of National Scientific Technology Achievement.
